Abkhazia
In 2025, the festival team expanded its horizons and traveled to the Republic of Abkhazia. It was an important step for us — we are growing, opening up new spaces and continuing to speak the language of art to cities.
During the month, "New Forms" actively engaged in the facades of Sukhum and carried out various socially significant projects. Thanks to the comprehensive support from the residents of the republic and its administration, we have done a great job of beautifying urban spaces through art.
The team has implemented 10 vivid murals referring to the history and culture of Abkhazia. Both real professionals of their field and students of Abkhazian educational institutions took part in the implementation. We have met many new friends, enjoyed nature to the fullest, and now we are ready to tell you about it!
The New Forms Festival was implemented with the support of the Russian Presidential Grants Fund and the organizational and informational support of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Abkhazia.
