On May 1, the electric train "Dioscuria" began running, connecting Adler and Sukhum, designed by the artists of the festival "New Forms: The Republic of Abkhazia".
After the arrival of the first flight, the team of "New Forms", together with students of the Abkhazian State University, conducted a tour of the train, telling how they decorated the interior of the "Dioscuri", combining our efforts.
After the train tour, we went to the murals, which were created as part of the project "New Forms, Republic of Abkhazia" in the city of Sukhum.
There, the artists noted the warm welcome of local residents and the importance of coordinating the sketches with the city assembly and the population, thanks to which the works were better able to reflect the spirit of the Republic of Abkhazia.
Sergey Kiriyenko noted the importance of transferring experience to local specialists, and also wished this project to become a continuation of the creative exchange and development of art in the Republic of Abkhazia.
The design is based on children’s drawings selected from the international competition "Facets of Creativity", organized with the support of the Ministries of Education of Russia and Abkhazia.
The New Forms team presented the project to Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia and President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba, emphasizing his contribution to the art of Abkhazia.
