Andrey Kalugin, known under the pseudonym VERSUS FLOW, works in various techniques: painting and graphics.
His works are kept in the Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts in Makhachkala, the museums of Anthropology and Ethnography named after him. Peter the Great (Kunstkamera) in St.Petersburg, as well as in the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan and private collections.
Andrey has participated in more than 20 exhibitions at the national, regional, national and international levels, including the graffiti Wall Festival in Derbent (2019−2021).
The work "Magnolia Branch" is dedicated to a unique symbol of Abkhazia. Recognizable, beloved, and vibrant magnolia flowers exude a subtle, intoxicating fragrance that embodies the promise of warmth, sunshine, and new life.
Andrey’s mural was the first to be ready at the festival in Abkhazia, and with his drawing he urges: "That every person should look inside himself, because we, in fact, are nature."
