Alexey Tarakin, better known as Alex Asta, is an artist-journalist specializing in creating 3D images. Using perspective, shadows, and colors, he transforms ordinary surfaces into breathtaking visual images that transcend the plane. Alexey is a member of the Spektr team and actively participates in the Moscow Evidence team, where he creates large-scale works of art that not only decorate, but also transform urban spaces, giving them a new meaning and stylistic value.

The mural "Sails" is dedicated to an outstanding artist from the city of Sukhum and is a tribute to his creative heritage and deep connection with his native land. The work is done in a bright and rich color palette typical of Levars Butb.

"My drawing is more like sketching, pure forms. But this mural became an experiment with painting, colors and shapes. I liked it, it was unusual. I think this is a good experience for Abkhazia. We need to try ourselves further, develop, create something of our own," says Alexey. This is a message to everyone and to myself.: don’t sit still, discover new ways and go beyond the usual limits in art.
