NeW FORMS. Yekaterinburg. 2026
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Follow Your Dream. Together with Russia
In 2026, we once again partnered with the International Youth Festival, held in Yekaterinburg from September 11 to 17. As part of the festival, we brought together an international team of artists to create murals on the façades of the Ural Federal University campus and hosted a series of creative workshops.

Inspired by the festival’s theme, the artists explored the diversity of opportunities through images of people, nature, knowledge, freedom, and moving forward. Workshop speakers invited participants to reflect on their own paths through creativity and to explore their connection to culture and their roots.

AT IYF 2026
GIVING LIFE
At the center of the composition is a young woman holding water in her hands. Birds gather around her hands to drink. The simple gesture becomes a symbol of care and a connection between people and the earth around them.

RUSSIA — A LAND OF OPPORTUNITY
The mural directly reflects the festival’s theme — the idea of Russia as a space where people can unlock their potential, gain knowledge, find their own path, and bring their dreams to life.
Artists:
Aigul Omuralieva (Laku), Russia
and Po Junjia (Ruobsor), China
THE WAY UP
The work serves as a reminder that the path toward a dream is not always straightforward or easy, but every step can bring us closer to the desired result. The key is to stay curious, believe in yourself, remain ready to take action, and “not be afraid of heights.”

CONTEMPORARY STREET ART
WORKSHOPS
An equally important and valuable opportunity for us is introducing young people to contemporary art and street art through creative workshops.

This time, we used art to explore what it means to be part of the “Land of Opportunity”: how to shape your own path, choose your direction and create your own story, as well as connect with culture and your roots, preserve your identity, and find strength in the past.

After short lectures, the most exciting part began — hands-on practice! Participants created their own small art objects using stencil techniques and fast-drying spray paint.
