At the center of the composition is a young woman holding water in her hands. Birds gather around her hands to drink. The simple gesture becomes a symbol of care and a connection between people and the earth around them.

Andrey is known not only as a muralist, but also as a painter and graphic artist. His works are held in the Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts in Makhachkala, the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography in Saint Petersburg, the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan, as well as in private collections.

Andrey has participated in more than 20 exhibitions at regional, national, and international levels. This is not the first time he has joined our festival. In the spring of 2025, he travelled with us to Sukhum, where he created the mural “Magnolia Branch.”нолии».
MURAL
GIVING LIFE
As part of the festival in Yekaterinburg, Andrey Kalugin presented his work “Giving Life” (alternative title: “The Source”). The mural explores the theme “Russia — A Land of Opportunity” through one of its most important values. The work conveys the idea of the country’s generosity and the possibility of living in harmony with the world around us.
