Sabek is an artist from Madrid. He started using a spray can for the first time at the age of 16. Sabek looks for inspiration in nature and brings its images into his works. His murals resemble ancient rock carvings, in which animals often become the main characters.
Sabek’s works can be found all over the world: in the USA, Germany, Norway, Belarus and Russia.
You can see a lot of metaphors in Sabek’s mural. The vase represents Russia, and each flower inside it represents the culture and the distinct personality, which bring their unique contribution to the beauty of the whole bouquet, i.e. the country. This part of the mural tells us about the diversity of people and unity to achieve a common goal.
In Russian folklore, pigeons often symbolize love and peace, therefore, they were included in this work as an image of partnership, harmony and synthesis between communities and groups within the regions of the country.
